Prints are printed on high grade Permajet lustre paper. All frames are made from Italian wood mouldings, glazed with high quality acrylic with a two inch mount and are ready to hang straight out of the box. Canvases are printed on premium Fujifilm canvas material coated with three layers of satin coat for added protection and stretched over one inch thick canvas frame. Description
The peninsula of St. Johns Point in southern Donegal on a sunny afternoon in May. Alongside the iconic lighthouse is one of the "Eire" signs from the second world war embedded in the ground with its corresponding number, this one being number 10. These Eire signs are still dotted around the coast of Ireland and were designed to let Axis airforce planes know that they were passing over the Republic of Ireland, a neutral country, rather than Northern Ireland which is part of Great Britain.
It's a long drive to the end of the peninsula but is definitely worth it for a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding coastline, including County Sligo to the south.
