Prints are printed on high grade Permajet lustre paper. All frames are made from Italian wood mouldings, glazed with high quality acrylic with a two inch mount and are ready to hang straight out of the box. Canvases are printed on premium Fujifilm canvas material coated with three layers of satin coat for added protection and stretched over one inch thick canvas frame. Description
North of Westport in County Mayo, nestled among hills and mountains is the Letterkeen Trailhead, a beautiful hike among the wilderness of rural Mayo. It was quite a cloudy day when I visited, having driven along the winding single track road leading to the trail I was delighted to see the almost unspoilt beauty of Letterkeen. The walking trail offers various routes for anyone who wants either longer or shorter paths; I chose the longer route through the forest and up the mountain at the end, taking this photo at the summit looking back at the journey I had just undertaken. The sheep didn't seem too bothered by my being there, I just had a few moments to take the photo before they ran away. Forests, rivers and mountains abound in this part of Mayo and I was glad to be able to capture it with my camera.
