Description

A beautiful sunny September day on the limestone cliffs of Kinbane Head on the north Antrim coast. Kinbane, or 'Ceinn Bán' in Irish means "White Head" and refers to the limestone which features so prominently along this part of the coast. On the promontory itself sits the remnants of Kinbane castle which was built in the 1540's by the MacDonnell clan to act as a lookout post over the surrounding sea and in the background can be seen Carrick-a-Rede under the dark clouds.

After taking this photo with my drone I decide to walk down the steps leading to the Castle; the panoramic view of Rathlin and Ballycastle was magnificent, however the walk back up to the car park soon left me out of breath.

Prints are printed on high grade Permajet lustre paper. All frames are made from Italian wood mouldings, glazed with high quality acrylic with a two inch mount and are ready to hang straight out of the box. Canvases are printed on premium Fujifilm canvas material coated with three layers of satin coat for added protection and stretched over one inch thick canvas frame. For more information on how I print and frame my work visit my Irish Landscape Photography page. Please note that the colour of both prints, canvases and frames may appear different than they do on screen; the watermark in the middle of my online images will not appear on prints and the aspect ratio of prints may appear different from the online image.

I print all of my prints on high grade Permajet lustre photo paper.

Choose from five different frame colours.

I include part of the image on the side of the canvas.
