Description

Towering over the rolling fields around Magherafelt at the edge of the Sperrin Mountain range is Slieve Galleon. One of the most iconic mountains in Ireland it can be seen from many miles around, even from neighbouring counties like Antrim.

I took this photo with my drone on a sunny evening in late April; there was a big field of rape seed planted in the shape of a "Y" which I had seen driving home one day and decided that I needed to capture it from the air. The endless hedgerows, fields and farmhouses always remind me of the joy of growing up in such a beautiful area surrounded by rural splendour.

Prints are printed on high grade Permajet lustre paper. All frames are made from Italian wood mouldings, glazed with high quality acrylic with a two inch mount and are ready to hang straight out of the box. Canvases are printed on premium Fujifilm canvas material coated with three layers of satin coat for added protection and stretched over one inch thick canvas frame.
