Prints are printed on high grade Permajet lustre paper. All frames are made from Italian wood mouldings, glazed with high quality acrylic with a two inch mount and are ready to hang straight out of the box. Canvases are printed on premium Fujifilm canvas material coated with three layers of satin coat for added protection and stretched over one inch thick canvas frame. Description
Taken on a warm and sunny October morning I had just photographed the watchtower overlooking Mullaghderg beach and went for a walk along its opposite end. The tide was high that morning with a strong wind which made for lots of waves crashing on the rocks, a feature I was able to capture with the long exposure technique using my tripod and filters. In the background is the long golden sliver of Carrick Finn beach and Mount Errigal looms in the far right corner. I was able to stand on some raised rocks which makes it look like I was floating over the water, and I've chosen to crop the image in the long narrow letterbox format to give it a panoramic look.
Mullaghderg and its surrounding area never ceases to amaze me with its natural beauty and abundance of features to be photographed. At any time of year and at any time of day there is guaranteed to be a beautiful vista around there somewhere for me to capture with my camera.
