Prints are printed on high grade Permajet lustre paper. All frames are made from Italian wood mouldings, glazed with high quality acrylic with a two inch mount and are ready to hang straight out of the box. Canvases are printed on premium Fujifilm canvas material coated with three layers of satin coat for added protection and stretched over one inch thick canvas frame. Description
There are some parts of Ireland which stay in my memory very clearly. Having travelled on an adventure holiday with my father and brothers as a teenager to Co. Galway we passed through the stunning valley of Doo Lough in County Mayo and the majesty of it remained with me until almost nineteen years later when I returned with my camera on a solo road trip.
I had to pay several visits over the week long stay as the weather didn't suit, but eventually the sky cleared slightly and I was able to capture this moody scene. I love the sun rays breaking through the clouds and the contours of the mountains rolling down to the lake in the middle ground. This is a black and white letterbox print ideal for above the headboard of a bed or the mantlepiece in a living room.
