Description
Of all of the places I've visited in Ireland County Mayo must be my favourite for a road trip, every mile of road offers views and vistas the be captured on camera. I took this photo on my first visit after I had driven through the beautiful valley at Doo Lough; driving beside a river I looked back in the rear view mirror and saw the breath taking mountains behind me. I simply pulled my car in to the first lay by I could find and walked along the river until I found some rocks to stand on safely. The combination of blue skies, white clouds, strong wind and fast moving water made for very striking long exposures.
I print all of my prints on high grade Permajet lustre photo paper.
